Remote Court Reporting Pilot: What Members Should Know

By Michelle Montero in collaboration with Cindy Tachell and Cassie Medina

California’s new remote court reporting pilot is a limited test program created under AB 3013 to study whether official court reporters can make the verbatim record from a designated remote location instead of being physically inside the courtroom.
