Presenter Bio:
Elora Dorini has been in the court reporting industry for 10 years. Her technical experience includes receiving, as well as conducting, individual training of court reporters in litigation support software with an emphasis on realtime writing and editing from the stenographic writer. She takes personal training sessions three to four times a year to learn about the advancements in our technology for court reporter-related software.

Elora worked as a freelancer until 2017 and then became an official court reporter for Los Angeles County. Prior to becoming an official, she took depositions until 2013 and then moved to freelance civil trials in Los Angeles Superior Court as well as Ventura Superior Court. In working civil trials, Elora specialized in providing daily transcripts with multiple realtime hookups.

Currently, she is working in a felony trial courtroom at Clara Foltz Shortridge Courthouse, providing the court with realtime, same-day/daily transcripts when requested, rough drafts, and various other services.

She also conducts private training sessions teaching reporters the in-depth capabilities of CAT software, as well as help set up backup systems for all work products, and personal computers, if necessary.

Elora has a great passion for the advancement of court reporting through education, training, and the application of new technology, and makes herself available for sharing this knowledge with her fellow court reporters
